My career has taken me from Aerospace to Financial Technology, and from London to Sydney. But the biggest lesson I learned wasn't technical—it was personal.
When I started at Bloomberg in London, it took me 18 months to get my first promotion. Looking back, I know exactly why it happened: I had an incredible mentor named Jacqui. Her guidance gave me the clarity I needed to stop spinning my wheels and start moving forward.
That coaching mindset became my secret weapon. It helped me eventually lead a major sector of Bloomberg’s Australian business and collaborate with colleagues across Tokyo, New York, and Singapore. I realized that thriving at work requires a thoughtful, structured approach to reflect on ambition, set goals, and execute.
